My collaboration with the Mauritius Commercial Bank spans over 10 years. As the No.1 bank in Mauritius, MCB positions itself as a leader in communications, creativity and events in the sector. Working with the Communications, Events and Digital departments along with the Group Creative Director, I am called whenever there's a major event in the bank's timeline.

Context:
VIBE Moris® is a singing competition by MCB. The intention here is to promote local talent, at all levels, in line with its Corporate Sustainability program "Success Beyond Numbers". One of the three objectives of this program is to enhance and safeguard the cultural and environmental heritage of Mauritius, which implies the artistic development of talents in the country.

The need
VIBE Moris® is the first of its kind in Mauritius. Never before has there been a singing competition operating at this high a level.
This required a first of its kind media strategy — how to make the audience connect to the candidates and how to deliver content across TV, Radio and Facebook.


The solution
A media & content strategy involving a Behind The Scenes look during the whole recording of the show. Prior to a candidates performance on TV, behind the scenes posts related to the specific were shared live on Facebook. The audience would get to see the state of mind of the candidate at the time. Once they finished singing, a post-performance interview would also be shared. 
The result was a captive audience throughout the show, actively cheering their favourites, and engaged on Facebook.
I created the BTS strategy including directing the video production crew. 
On top of this, I also directed the visuals displayed behind the candidates during the show.
