A healthy rebound.
My collaboration with the Mauritius Commercial Bank spans over 10 years. As the No.1 bank in Mauritius, MCB positions itself as a leader in communications, creativity and events in the sector. Working with the Communications, Events and Digital departments along with the Group Creative Director, I am called whenever there's a major event in the bank's timeline.
Context:
The health crisis linked to COVID-19 has revealed how Mauritius' economy can be vulnerable to the vagaries of international trade. The time has come for Mauritius to use its renowned entrepreneurial culture and dynamism to shape up a more resilient island with a more diversified productive fabric.

This transition is required against a backdrop of a climate emergency, the deleterious consequences of which should be felt on the island more than elsewhere. This is what a study entitled LOKAL REBOUND reveals. The study was commissioned by MCB from the sustainable development strategy consulting firm, Utopies®.
I was tasked to create the video that would lead talks between MCB and its partners. I created the stop-motion / paper cut concept and worked with other animators for their section.
