I had the opportunity to join Nexus as the Head of Brand & Design in 2021 while exploring the Blockchain / Web3 space.

At the nexus of it all
Nexus is built on 4 tenants: Decentralised Finance, Security, Education, and Democratisation.
They help build the graphical foundation of the Nexus X — a converging point. Nexus is meant to be at the center of DeFi.
Same, same but different.
Currently, Nexus has a series of 5 tools:
• Portfolio Tracker • Discovery Tool • NFT Creator Tools • Education resources • Token Bridge
Figuring out each tool of the ecosystem meant creating familiar colour markers that wouldn't feel disconnected from the main brand colour.
Nothing out of place.
Each tool was branded off of the Nexus X.
5 strong, individually branded marks that can stand on their own while giving a nod to the mother brand. The X helped set a strong foundation for the products to be built on.
